Very big hotel with open calm spaces to relax and enjoy music and a buffet of coffee tea and small snacks - felt like I could really unwind. Just a small note that English is not a language the staff speaks, so need to brush up on a little Japanese or rely on those Google translators ! But all are eager to please, and it’s a pleasure to experience the politeness and customer care of their culture. Their dinners are very authentic and delicious. Onsens are wonderful with very clean atmosphere.

A nice stopover on way from Niseko to Sapporo. Lovely large rooms. Did not love everything from the kaiseki dinner but the beef sukiyaki was good. Booked the private cypress bath so that we could bathe as a family but i would skip this next time and head straight for the public bath on the high level - large with a view of the forest.

I wish we stayed here longer, the staff were amazing and helpful even with the language barrier. The location is authentically Japanese, or as close as possible. The Onsens were amazing and food was delicious. I was planning on gate keeping the location so it doesn’t become too westernised, but the place is too amazing and hopefully it keeps its Japanese roots.
