This hotel is well located just a few minutes walk from town. Our room was very clean. We had a nice dinner and the breakfast was very good. All the staff were very friendly. The only very small issue was that some of the tables in the dining room have wide grooves in the top which still had the crumbs of past meals caught in them.

Lovely one- night stay: charming old property full of history, pretty gardens, impeccable personalised service and excellent food - highly recommended for a taste of "old England".

Good friendly atmosphere, welcoming staff, comfortable rooms, clean and good food. Would stay there again if ever visiting England in the future.
