Bed and Breakfast in Sherborne

"We booked two rooms while walking the coast path. Neither room had a working shower. Both produced boiling hot water that would burn.All we were offered was the use of another shower in an outside building. We declined. Tired building and the Manager uninterested in offering any support or refund. He just told us the rooms were due to be updated! My advice..Go somewhere else. "

"Parking was a bit tricky to get in underneath to park n. but very secure. The hotel staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble for then. Because of our age we found the stairs a big challenge so probably would not return "

"There was no Spa available. Closed or closed down? First impressions rough on the outside but pleasantly surprised by the inside. Decent food & bedroom. 👍"

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Check in quick, given all the info we needed. Classic Double room was larger than expected. Well stocked tea and coffee and biscuits. Lovely clean bathroom,good shower, plenty of hot water. Continental breakfast was fine and catered for gluten free. We ate in the restaurant for dinner. A good selection of dishes at reasonable prices. The majority were gluten free. The food was excellent. The pub is next to the railway crossing and station, but no noise overnight. Would definitely recommend. "

"Great location .Large comfortable room overlooking beach. Windows old and very draughty ,building a bit tired in places. WiFi non existent in room. Not a hotel problem, but Weymouth car parking charges astronomical!!"

"Reception staff friendly and helpful. Cleaning done to a good standard. Nice, clean bed. Very tatty room (nothing to do with housekeeping), tired looking, torn net curtain, dirty windows. Shower curtain was heavily stained, disgusting, ick! Poor tea/coffee selection. £104 seemed excessive for this room. "

"Lovely clean large room, great bath to soak in, super comfy bed, a nice TV, many charging points to plug in your devices. The Staff are friendly and helpful, Breakfast was ok, Scrambled eggs are I would say being an experienced chef, made from liquid egg, sausages were nothing special, bacon and mushrooms were fine, nice croissants, some breakfast cereal, average breakfast, Our room was very clean ,smelled fresh, including the en suite toilet."
