Bed and Breakfast in Yale

"I was impressed by the fast and very friendly gentleman at reception and felt welcome. We only needed a room for one night passing through but could have easily spent more time there if I needed to be in Hope longer. The things that matter most to me in a room are, Comfortable beds and pillows, CLEANLINESS , and great service. This room did not disappoint. One helpful tip for the owner would be to have a small shelf in the bathroom to put toiletries. It surprised and pleased me to find not just two queen beds but an actual bedroom for one of them! This was especially great for us as one of us goes to bed at 8pm but the other stays up until 11pm watching tv, not to mention the snore off. 🤭 The location for meals was fabulous and if you don’t like fast food then I highly recommend The Home restaurant just a few blocks away, we had a late supper and enjoyed it so much we returned for breakfast before our journey. If you need a room in Hope BC then I recommend The Mountain View Hope Motel. ✌️😎🇨🇦"

"My family and I stayed for one night in July 2025. Our stay exceeded our expectations. (I write this as the husband to a daughter of a motel and bar owner (ret.), so it'd be hard NOT to have some 2nd hand experience in how a motel ought to be operated). This is why: The People. The two behind the counter are amazing people. I spoke at length with one (and I'm so sorry I did not get your name), and again with Emma in the morning before I left. Great characters, honest, hard working, no BS people. Be nice to them and clean up after yourselves! 😝 The Beds. We stayed in a 2 room suite upstairs, and the beds were fantastic! Super comfortable and soft (but not too soft) and clean! My family and I are travelers, and have stayed at many different kinds and styles of places all over. These beds would rank in my top 15%. Hey, I'm a big guy. Beds are important to me. Clean. The place was clean. And wifey grew up in a family run motel. She checks. Everything. Every. Time. 﫩 Hardwood floors in the suite, great idea! It's a pet friendly place and it didn't smell like dog ✅️. We have dogs and wouldn't have minded if it did, but it didn't. The motel is right across the street from a beach, so their clientele are mostly young families and the party crowd. Not the tidiest bunch! I wasn't expecting spotless. But it came close. "Great location to explore the beautiful Hope area. The cabin is rustic and charming, with amazing views of the river, and at night the property takes on a fairy garden ambience. Michelle is a lovely host, and her bread and jam are delicious. The collection of pets are friendly and you can count on regular check ins from at least one of the cats, who is happy to sit with you and laze the day away. We were able to visit Bridal veil falls, the Othello tunnels, swim in Kawkawa lake and explore Hope easily from this location. Of note, we were happy to see that the Save-on Foods, the liquor store, and a gas station are all closely located together in Hope. "
