"VERY thin walls. You can hear the guests in the next room snoring - even if their tv is on low volume you can hear it. Would not recommend if you are a light sleeper"

"Great location! Just a couple blocks from Fisherman’s Wharf, Pier 39, and cable car turn around. We stayed in room 501 which gave a great view of downtown and Coit tower."

"The staff at the Cow Hollow Inn & Suites were nice, kind & very helpful. My car was safely parked in their garage area during my stay. My room was clean and comfortable. The location is walkable to The Marina Green and The Palace Of Fine Arts, as well as many wonderful restaurants. A very safe & clean area. I’d would stay here again."

"Unless you have a special need to be within close proximity of Pier 39, go elsewhere. Property is dated, they’ve tried their best to present a modern feel but it’s a 60’s building (possibly older) that has been revamped. Rooms are tidy albeit tight annd the bath/ shower feels like you’re in a residence that should be charging a lot less. Hygiene staff attentive and thorough, check in staff were indifferent (would make it a rule to not drink Dunkin Donut branded Iced Coffees whilst on desk). Overall, pay the same money and stay somewhere like the Westin. Don’t be fooled by the “dangerous city” there are just as many problems at the pier but certainly the accommodation is of a lesser standard."

"Came back about 10 days ago . And I’m already looking forward to visit again. The location of the hotel is great! 3 minute walk from the beach , pier 39 is a 3 min walk , the cove is 10 minutes walk . Lots of restaurants and shopping. The hotel is well maintained , very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is awesome and has everything you could ask for in breakfast buffet . Fresh and clean . The room is nice and clean .bedding is very comfortable . although the bathroom is maintained and very clean , it’s the only thing I didn’t like in the hotel .It’s very small and outdated . I really enjoyed my stay there and I will be going back !"
