"We loved the view even on this summer foggy weekend. The separate buildings are well sited, climbing the hill to maximize the views of the Bay. The fireplace was a welcome cozy addition to the spacious double high ceiling corner room. The generous continental breakfast across highway 1 at the Tides Restaurant was a bonus and though we had planned to, we did not order from the menu to supplement the complementary plate. On our first night we also had dinner at the Tides restaurant but the food was only so so and quite pricey for what it was. We loved the staff from the women on hotel phone and text confirming the room and organizing early check in to the fellows at the front desk to the cleaning staff. Everyone was friendly and skilled and welcoming. We liked it so much we scheduled July 4the weekend too! and hope to pop up to this place from San Francisco on our long weekends."
