"An amazing stay! The property itself is beautiful and the grounds make for wonderful walks. The room was very spacious and well-maintained. We stayed with two young children, who received warm milk and cookies shortly after check in, brought straight to our room. The staff were lovely. The breakfast buffet was excellent (even if not extremely varied). Overall, highly-recommended and we would gladly return for a longer stay in the future."

"Small car park, clean room but very dated. Uncomfortable bed - very springy and well used!! Noisy late into night from pub below. Lovely lady booked us in on Friday but bar man not very friendly. Breakfast not included in price"

"Great stay "

"We stayed in the hotel Saturday night, under booking name - Cable. On arrival we were given room two. The room was very dirty, marks and stains everywhere and black mould in the bathroom and main room. Due to being tired from travelling we tried to have an early night and a good sleep. There was constant and constant loud noise directly outside our room. With multiple adults and children shouting and running up and down the corridor, slamming doors and being generally loud. This included the lady who checked us in when we first arrived. Around midnight I walked outside the room due to the noise and asked the people to keep their noise down. There was around 30 people in the corridor, I am assuming there was a family party or event, in which case I am confused as to why we were given a room in between all these orher people. The next morning I complained to a man at reception and showed him time and location stamped images of the room we stayed in showing how run down and unkempt the room is. It is common knowledge that black mould is a health hazard. I requested a refund and the person on yhe desk said the manager would call me today. At the time of writing there has been no contact and I will be surprised if my concerns were even passed on. Due to the loud noise myself and my family had a really poor sleep, meaning we had to travel tired and this caused a lot of stress and hassle. "
