"We had a lovely stay. Beautiful walled garden for relaxing having a drink/meal. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Some of the hotel is a little tired, but they appear to be working on it. The bar was redecorated during our stay, with minimal disruption. Breakfast was adequate. We didn’t eat any other meals in the hotel, but the meals and afternoon teas being served to guests in the garden looked delicious."

"Very welcome by the check-in staff. Room ready and spacious and bright, pet made very welcome with no problem. Two night stay used the restaurant both night. Menu full of choice excellent starters and main with great dessert. Second night choose from "bar menu" but in the restaurant, very good choice. Prices very competitive in restaurant and bar.
