"Our stay was a highlight of our 8 day trip to the South Island. The room was clean. The heated floor was a very nice touch. The shower was generous in size. The restaurant staff were friendly. Our only complaint was that the check in process was lengthy as there was only one staff member on the desk - he needed some help!!"

"Our room comes with a kitchenette and complimentary breakfast food and drink. This is a plus. The location is excellent, just walking 1 min to everything. The only complaint is the reception closed at 7pm instead of 8 as advertised."

"Parking - very good Check-in - excellent and helpful Room readiness and cleanliness - very good Bathroom + toiletries - good Bed - poor with a hump in the middle Pillows - good Guest laundry - yes In house restaurant - very good. Nice menu. Locality - very close to town centre, restaurants, cafe’s, gas station Summary - nice place to stay. Sadly the double bed had a hump in the middle which was a bit uncomfortable. Overall - recommended!"

"While we did not use the kitchen it did look fully equipped. Lots of storage in the bathroom and the bed and pillow options were good. Lovely view from the room that would have benefitted from clearer skies. Beamish the black lab was a joy as was watching the chickens running around the property. Can defnitely recommend."
