A convenient motel with all the facilities we needed for self-catering in the centre of Fox Glacier and an easy drive to all the major tourist attractions. We were only there one night but would have been happy to use as a base for a longer stay.

Bad wifi and the residential properties around the motel had their dogs barking all night. Room was not cleaned as thoroughly as it should've been. Good location for sleeping after hiking though.

I didnt like the "kitchenette". Very, very difficult to cook in - small (little tiny counter). You should count on sandwiches, eating out or ordering in.

We accidentally got locked out of our camper and by 10 pm realized we were not getting back in until the morning. We booked online, walked to the hotel, they sent someone to get us checked in so we were able to sleep somewhere warm.

We had to park a long way from our room, which was inconvenient when we loaded up to leave in the rain and the facilities are bare minimum, so can not recommend if there are other options available.

The room was very loud. Paper-thin walls to adjacent rooms. Water was untreated when we were there so had to boil before using. Very inconvenient. I don’t think that was the property’s fault but they didn’t notify us at all in advance, so it was an unexpected surprise. Fox glacier is a very small town—only one grocery store that closes at 6pm daily.

Floors filthy. Bathroom was not clean. Shower curtain had not been cleaned or replaced in a very long time. Towels were stained with dirt. I would not recommend this motel.
