"the man and women at the front desk were amazing. they went above and beyond for us. we were in a car accident (rear ended) on our first day in Iceland (about 15 minutes from the cottages) and were very stuck as we couldn’t drive the car or make phone calls. we got in contact with them and they not only picked us up but moved us into a room in the main part of the building so that we could be close to the front desk to use their phones to make many calls back and forth to our car rental company....

"This is a very comfortable, spacious home. Very quiet. Everything you might need is here. It is, however, quite remote, 30 minutes on an unpaved road and 63km from the closest grocery store. I would recommend it as a good place to get away and relax, rather than a place which is convenient to sights. The owner is very responsive to questions, she was great."

"Had a great stay at Grandi Centre Hotels. Location was convenient for me. It's about a 10 min walk to the Rainbow Street and 5 minutes to an area with more restaurants. There are two bakeries right outside which is highly convenient. It is a 2 min walk to bus stop 15 if you are planning on doing any tours that require a pick up. Staff was incredibly helpful as they were able to help me book an airport transfer that I was unable to do through the bus website. Breakfast was standard and rooms were of a decent size with good amenities. Highly recommend staying here if you are in the area."
