Clean room, comfortable beds. This place is situated off the main road as of out of nowhere. We hoped to see northern lights but forecast said the chance was low. We ordered burger in their restaurant for dinner. It’s a little pricey but freshly made and tasted good. Breakfast is nice. Highly recommend this place.

The property was in excellent location. The room was clean and cozy with well stocked kitchen ware. The mountain views were just breathtaking. Daria was just incredible. She was pleasant and extremely helpful. She made sure we had excellent dinner and went above and beyond to make my birthday very special there. She even shared a piece of cake she had made for her boyfriend who's bd happened to be the day prior to mine. Thank you Daria!!

This was by far the best place we stayed in Iceland. The room was well appointed and had everything we needed. The restaurant was good for dinner. Breakfast included was excellent. The staff very friendly and helpful. The location was remote but beautiful. Would have liked to stay here longer.

The staff here is really friendly and helpful. The meal I ate there was the best I had during my entire Iceland trip. Be sure to let them know you want to eat there. The room was really nice. The location is perfect if you’re planning on visiting the Snaeffelsnes Peninsula region. I drove around Iceland staying at a different place every night and this was my favorite.

This place is absolutely majestic. The rooms are well thought out and comfortable. They really put the personal into your personal space. The food at the restaurant was top notch at dinner and breakfast. The host Gudrun is very personable. Thanks for the tip on the puffins it was fantastic

Outstanding. Exactly what you hope for in a host. Absolutely delightful chat with the owner about places ro see; great food; easy everything. The views from bed are outrageously beautiful to wake up to. (Bonus for those with long/ thick hair, the water pressure was phenomenal)

Great property, a bit of a difficult location. Beautiful scenery, clean comfortable room. Getting to it from Reykjavik would be super simple in the summer, other seasons you are driving through the mountains.

We were definitely wowed with our stay at Dalahyttur! We arrived late & the host was super lovely and accommodating of our needs, ensuring she had everything we wanted for breakfast the next day too, which was perfect! The room itself was wonderful - super cosy & warm with heated flooring in the bathroom! Wish we could’ve stayed longer, would definitely recommend!!
