"We stayed at the Sheraton Resort Villas, Kauai from July 14 - July 21, 2026. Our room was clean, and we had housekeeping every day. We were able to cook in our room, which had a stove, full sized refrigerator, and a dishwasher. The room also had a washer/dryer combo as well. The resort was clean. We enjoyed both pools during our stay, and reserved a beach cabana for one day. The service at the pool and on the beach was good. The food and drinks from Lavas restaurant/bar were good. We enjoyed an excellent dinner at the Rum Fire restaurant. The resort was a very short distance to shopping and other dining establishments. We took a day cruise to see the Na Pali Coast, and the catamaran location was only about a 25 minute drive from the resort. We also drove to Waimea Canyon and the many lookouts (about an hour drive), and enjoyed a picnic lunch while there. Concerns: While we could control the thermostat, and turn the air on/off, when the air did turn on, it was extremely cold and the vent blew very cold air over the bed area when it ran both day and night. There was no control on the air vent. After asking for assistance with this issue and not receiving any, I put a hand towel up by the vent to detour much of the cold air. I also feel that the extra fee (not uncommon) for parking ($40/day for self parking, and $60 per day for valet parking, both are plus tax), is a bit extreme, and probably should be included in the daily room rate, rather than an extra charge."
"Property is beautiful and lush. The pictures do it no justice. Staff was very nice. We ate at the restaurant there 4 times, the good was great! Especially the pizzas and BBQ."
"Very pricey but worth it. The property is truly magical. Everyone is cheery and extremely helpful with any questions you have about the property or the island in general. Kukui'ula does not disappoint!"
HOME & GUEST HOUSE FOR PRICE OF 1 POIPU BEACH ESTATES 5 BR/ 5 BA WALK TO BEACH
10/10 Excellent
"This was a perfect place to stay. Everything we needed was there, the location was great and the house was clean. Having access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club was a great perk! The only thing other members of our family mentioned was that the beds were very springy and weren’t the most comfortable beds. Other than that, we loved the place!"
Ocean Front Condo with AC, Watch Sea Turtles from Our Lanai
10/10 Excellent
"The property exceeded expectations by far. The property was spotless. It had every amenity you could think of. This was my first time vacationing this way and I’m afraid the bar has been set very high. I had to contact the owner several times prior to coming out to Kauai and he responded within 30 minutes. We loved the location. We must have spent hours watching the surf and the sea turtles struggling against the tide from the lanai. We celebrated our 30 th wedding anniversary and it will be the most memorable celebration we have had to date. Because of our visit , I would recommend this property to everyone planning a trip to Kauai."
