"We are checking out today after a two week stay. It has been wonderful! The reason I scored a four overall was because the exhaust fan from the room below made a humming noise in our master bedroom closet. We had to run the air conditioner to offset the sound. We did report it, but it happened multiple times so I doubt there’s anything they can do about it. Also, they do have one very nice pool, but the maximum depth is 4 1/2 feet. They offer water aerobics, but the pool was not deep enough to adequately participate in the exercises."

"Absolutely loved our 5 night stay at Koa Kea! It is such a lovely, small resort. Right on the ocean, just a few short steps to beautiful beaches with sea turtles, monk seals, great snorkeling and surfing. The resort staff was very friendly and so helpful!"

"Location good. Quiet area. Restaurants and food store nearby. Hotel clean and in good condition. There is an ocean view, however, from a distance. Communication for check-in and office is good. There is no housekeeping but you can get clean towels. Really enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to ocean waves, watching sunsets, and various birds and chickens in area."

"The property was functional and in a great location. We were there a month after a hurricane, and clean up of the area was still progressing. Understandable. However, the sliding door and windows were all sticky and difficult to operate, and this had nothing to do with the hurricane. The unit itself needs some maintenance and updating."
