"This is a unique space to unwind in after a long day of being out, and has a very rustic ambiance. I appreciate the snacks, coffee, and beverages in the fridge, as well as the warming welcome. Hearing the dogs saying hello every time I came in and out was nice to hear. The owners had everything I needed here. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it for anyone who is also exploring Vermont. Thank you so much!"

"More rustic than we expected, but many great memories were created. Very nice to have the large property to ourselves. Tons of games and activities available, or peaceful porch rocking, if chosen. The caretakers, LeighAnn and Jason, were tremendously helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about the farm. A couple of minuses would be that there is no dishwasher ( though it’s advertised on VRBO), and the “pool” is actually a pond. We are very glad we had this experience!"

"Everything we wanted for our getaway. It’s beautiful large acreage with plenty of space and all upgraded. It was a bit of a drive for the

resorts but worth it for us. My only hiccup was that I didn’t screenshot a pic of the entry code so when we arrived I was unable to retrieve as had no service. So recommend you don’t make the mistake I did. Also a washer/dryer would’ve helped to take less with us. But for those traveling less than 4 days it’s perfect. trip. Worried we wouldn’t find a place that allowed dogs, we scrambled and picked the first place we could find. We were pleasantly surprised at how cozy and welcoming the home was. There was so much to do. If we weren’t so tired from

, we would have explored more of the trail in the backyard. We went sledding in the backyard and enjoyed the big, cozy couch. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend to friends and family."

"We had a very nice stay at the Maplecroft, which is an exquisitely restored Victorian house. Bedrooms are small, but intimate. The host was very attentive to our needs, and prepared an excellent breakfast daily. She had lots of good suggestions for dinner and sightseeing."
