This is a great get away! Great hosts & location. We were especially thankful for the full kitchen (& communication with our hosts) during an ice storm; we spent the day inside safe, cozy & stress-free. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Overall, nice place—clean and neat. Bathroom a little small but everything we needed and everything was clean. When I messaged the host she responded almost immediately, which I really appreciated. We enjoyed a couple old movies from the dvd collection.

Intimate and Cozy

This is a unique space to unwind in after a long day of being out, and has a very rustic ambiance. I appreciate the snacks, coffee, and beverages in the fridge, as well as the warming welcome. Hearing the dogs saying hello every time I came in and out was nice to hear. The owners had everything I needed here. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it for anyone who is also exploring Vermont. Thank you so much!

Cute, Comfortable Stay

My husband and I stayed at this 1 bedroom apartment in Duxbury. This apartment is above the garage, in which you need to take stairs up to the bedroom. The full kitchen and bathroom are downstairs. The upstairs roof is a little low at times, in which I hit me head several times (most likely you would probably learn from your first few times to be a bit more careful but I sadly did not). Our room was comfortable and the apartment was very clean. The space is perfect for 2 people. It was easy to find, based on the instructions. But the owner does have 2 large dogs and we heard them barking every time we would either leave of arrive at the apartment. We would also heard them when the owners would come home, as they were excited to greet them. This wasn't an issue for us since we have a dog and the noise doesn't really bother us. But just wanted to make mention for others. Overall, this was a nice stay and would consider staying at this home again if I was to visit Vermont again.

The property was very clean and the hosts were friendly. Definitely a pet friendly place which was great since we had two little dogs with us. The kitchen was adequately stocked with cooking utensils and the host kindly left a variety of snacks , spices, and other items.

Convenient location relative to Stowe and Burlington. It was a great stay for us and our dog with a gorgeous view behind it. The ceilings are a bit low, my 6’4” husband struggled and I at 5’8” had to watch my head. The hosts are lovely. Definitely recommend!

The coziest!

Such a cozy little spot. Minutes away from town and the perfect driving distance from Stowe and Burlington! This was our first time exploring Vermont (as adults) and this made the perfect homebase. Definitely bookmarking for the next visit - and our dogs felt right at home!

Kayla and Nicholas were AMAZING! Having fabulous hosts makes every trip even better.We had to come to town last minute, just for the night, and their place was perfect. As other reviewers have noted, it's in a VERY ideal location--15 to 30 minutes from anything you'd want to explore: small towns, bigger towns, parks, hiking, it's truly a magical area.The field behind the house was perfect for an early morning romp with our dog. The views are great and it has everything you would need in a place to stay. And popcorn and snacks! So many snacks! They also own and run a fantastic coffee shop about 15 minutes away in Waitsfield--so we stopped by to say hello and enjoy a breakfast sandwich.It is a very cozy space above the garage. They live in the house, which is attached, and has a great history. It was a perfect place for two adults and a dog who had a relaxing night's sleep and loved staying with a welcoming couple who are also local business owners who love where they live!
