"I rarely give such low ratings but the room itself was sub par at best. Dirty floor, and the toilet and shower are in one tiny closet-like area and the sink is in the room. No chance for dressing in privacy if you're traveling with older kids. The room was not touched/serviced for the entire 4 day 3 night stay, including removal of trash. We caught one employee in the hall and gave him our soaking wet towels and asked for fresh ones. Came back to room late afternoon and no towels. When we called the desk we were told we'd have to go down to get them. Breakfast room was overwhelmed and ran out of food by 8 am. No forks,muffins, pancakes at various times. No one cleaned tables between families. A trail of water from trash on the floor was a slip hazard. The manager was overwhelmed. Lack of staff?. One of the worst stays and I've had hundreds. Apologies for the length Front desk checkin was great to add a positive note."

"We had a very short stay and so didn’t use any of the amenities available. The property was exactly as advertised and met our needs. There was clear communication with the property manager and the check in process was very easy. It’s a perfect location as you are very near colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens and museums."

"Very comfortable property. Our family of four fit easily and there was plenty to do at the apartment with the pool table, hot tub, and tvs. The location was great for everything we wanted to do. Note that you should pick up some bottled water when you stay here as the only sink is in the bathroom. "

"Booked a few days out from the weekend we planned. Received only instructions to go to the front desk to get keys 2pm the day of arrival. Drove over 4 hrs with the whole family in the car ready to relax only to find out there was no booking , couldn’t get ahold of the owner. Called VRBO customer service and absolutely struggled to understand the representative assigned. Was told to give the confirmation number from our reservation email… it’s not working… they do not have it , kept saying this but that’s all they told us to do . The receptionist said they have had multiple issues with VRBO using their resort location as a VRBO when the location is a timeshare. It caused over 1 hr of disruption to our night as the communication was extremely difficult. I asked to speak to a supervisor however after a long hold just came back to the same representative. The only benefit was being able to get a full refund however had to ask the representative to slow down and speak clearly to fully understand what he was doing so we wouldn’t end up in further delays of what his resolution was. It’s absolutely unacceptable to have to pay the same location or any other location out of pocket more money due to waiting 1-2 weeks for the refund. Your company needs to make better rules for the owners to be aware of their timeshare booking and management as it’s false advertising to offer all year round booking for a timeshare- especially when our booking was not even in the system… explain that! "

"When we arrived, we checked in and our room was not clean, though it had been released for check in. The front desk staff was unhelpful, did not have any sense of urgency or empathy for the situation. We learned it was a much larger issue that just our unit, with more than 20 units that needed cleaned, and several families waiting in the lobby for access to their rooms. After over an hour waiting for housekeeping, or even a timeline for remedy, we opted to find lodging elsewhere. I did receive a refund for the stay, and the host was fine, but I would not recommend this property. "
