"The property was run down and it was more of a home to students and low income couples and families. My 1st impression was the place was NOT good. However it was probably the most quiet hotel.I have ever stayed in ever!!! It was the best night's sleep I have ever had in a hotel. So I would go back for the price and the quiet."

"The location is impossible to beat, and we'd certainly stay here again for the convenience. However, we had more than one odd interactions with staff that were inexplicably brusque or rude. I usually don't leave such comments, because I'm not looking for special treatment, but eye contact and a willingness to help someone in a store or cafe seem a baseline for such a storied property."

"The room was amazing. The decor fit the vibe of colonial Williamsburg and the room was clean, well maintained, and had anything you may need in a small kitchenette. Cannot wait to stay there again. My only complaint would have to be how loud the air conditioner was in my room, it work extremely well, but it was a little on the loud side. Other wise 10/10, 5 stars, great room! Highly recommend."

"The room was clean modern amenities. Shower was great. The bed was awesome and we love the location. We dined in the Terrace room at the Williamsburg Inn. It’s lovely. The staff was efficient, but we were disappointed. The food was not at the level and quality we had been expecting. We did not order alcohol, alcoholic beverages, and our water glasses set empty for way too long."

"The Aldrich Bed and Breakfast is an absolutely gorgeous B&B located extremely close to Colonial Williamsburg (~30 min. walking to the heart of town). Our room was comfortable, clean, and spacious. The proprietors, Tom and Sue, are both lovely. Breakfast is delicious, served family style. Parking is easy and bountiful, and check in/out is efficient and straightforward. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking to experience a tranquil and historic experience in Williamsburg!"

"Friendly staff and clean room. It wasn't an issue for us, but the bathroom door did not shut. That could definitely be awkward for some people. I saw some notices on the walls about strict polices that were not mentioned online, including no more than 2 people per room and no guests, but it wasn't an issue in our case since we just needed a place to crash for the night. The exterior could use some sprucing up. There was a shopping cart full of bricks and a few mattresses just chilling out front. Overall, worth it for the low price point for our 1 night stay."
