"I honestly cannot emphasize enough how wonderful the place was. Sheri went out of her way to make sure the house was stocked with items, which was such a relief when we realized halfway down we had forgotten some things. I would recommend this place to absolutely anyone. It’s perfect for family get-togethers. It’s perfect for getting together with small groups or even larger groups of friends. The house was even set up in such a way where we didn’t have to worry about our special needs daughter getting out into the pool without us catching her. I just can’t say enough good things about the whole experience."

"We needed an interesting place to visit that was not a big city. We wanted a nice relaxing environment. St Genevieve and the 1801 House met our expectations. The hosts thought of everything their guests would need. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. I will recommend this property to others."

"We had stayed at this property before, but were pleasantly surprised with the improvements and upgrades we noticed. Especially noteworthy the spa and very nice pool that make relaxing after a tiring trip so much easier. What made the biggest impression, however, was the wonderful coffee(!!) and the friendliness of the kitchen/breakfast area staff. The whole area is very neat, clean, well equipped, nicely furnished!"
