"Just a quick stop over for us. However it was so good and I actually said to my husband that I wish I was staying longer! We had one of the ground level rooms which had what I called “our own backyard” that our toddler was able to play around in so that he wasn’t stuck in the room. Breakfast buffet was nothing short of amazing and had heaps of variety, comfy beds (heaven honestly). Our room was super spacious which was an added bonus. They had a portacot for our toddler which was bonus as well. 10/10 will be back whenever I’m in Auckland again overnight."

"Lovely clean comfortable room. I stayed in a Habitat suite. Would have been good to have room service as a treat, was tired from travelling and just wanted a shower and to not go out to the dine in restaurant. They didn't have that service so I got a couple of dinner bits from the vending machine. Was fine, but no healthy options. Reception staff were lovely and it was clean and the decor was stylish throughout. The exterior gardens, visible from lots of windows when walking to my room, hadn't been maintained which was a shame as lots of potential. I would definitely stay again. If funds allow would love one of the funky rooms full of colour and quirk! :)"

"The rooms are very small and basic and in need of a lick of paint. The room was clean and the bedding crisp and white. Don't expect any amenities in your room, they are basic and in a communal area in the hall. But that is explained in the room described. The showers and toilets are also communal and along the hall and are nice and clean. We were fortunate enough be given free upgrade to the Delux Ensuite Queen room by the owner of the hotel. This was very spacious bedroom with a very large bathroom. The amenities are in a small kitchen area shared with two other rooms. All of the staff were very friendly, professional and fun."
