"First time on Kauai? Please be aware, nothing is Ocean Front. You may see the ocean, but all housing is high on cliffs and far from the water. Between the roosters and the property maintenance workers, do not plan to sleep past 7 a.m! Would have been nice to have a food option on the property. Top Wainiha Hotel Reviews

Aston Islander on the Beach

8/10 Good

"The best features was the location on the beach and we had a balcony over looking the beach. The other positive was the proximity to the Coconut Market- walking distance to shops and restaurants. However it was not well lit at night so it could be hazardous walking. More lights are definitely needed. Our unit was also in need of an upgrade. The staff was helpful but they are not always available at the front desk."

Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort

10/10 Excellent

"The Sheraton was our go-to when we evacuated Poipu due to hurricane Lowell. They were very accommodating providing food, water, etc even when no power was available in our room. Can’t say enough about how sweet the staff was during our stay, even though they were extremely shorthanded."

Hotel Coral Reef

10/10 Excellent

"Great location was at the center of all we planned to do."

Plantation Hale Suites

8/10 Good

"This is my "go to" property when booking on Kaua'i. I travel a lot for work and I like that it feels more like home than in a resort room. Parking is right outside the units which is a huge plus! Remember to check your email for your room code information & instructions to avoid showing up at the office necessarily."

Haena Beachfront With Stunning Panoramic Ocean Views TVNC # 5134

10/10 Excellent

"The views from this home were incredible! Steve was wonderful to work with. The beach below the home had lots of debris but this was probably from the storm. We loved our time in Kauai."
