"We thought the room was on the dark side, not much in the way of overhead light. Felt cramped too."

"Ideal location in the city. Very pretty and quiet street located near the museums, shopping and Vondelpark. The breakfast was very good and offered many choices. The staff were helpful and friendly. My only complaint was the housekeeping - despite “cleaning “ our room, no bath mats were provided for wet ones and tissue boxes were not refilled when emptied. These were small issues and didn’t take away from our very pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend!"

"Would definitely stay here again. Hotel is in a great location for exploring the city. Staff were friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed the breakfast. Rooms are quite small if you are used to larger hotel rooms, but that did not impact our enjoyment in the least."

"The hotel’s location was very convenient and close to many tourist attractions in Amsterdam. The room was small, but the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, the fridge in our room did not work. The room could get very hot, but thankfully they provided us with a fan and air conditioning. The bathroom was clean, and the toilet, sink, and shower all worked properly. The TV had some good channels as well. The staff were respectful and courteous. Overall, the hotel was okay."

"Terrible room with ridiculously small bathroom. Sink was such poor design almost unusable. Breakfast awful.. cold scrambled eggs and bacon, minimal cold meat cheese etc. Dining area gloomy and shabby. The only good feature was the very helpful reception desk staff."

"Housekeeping could have been better. Water glasses were not properly cleaned, a bath towel put in our room after cleaning was dirty, wash clothes were forgotten one day. Also, a problem with HVAC, was turned off inexplicably and had to call down to rectify."

"This is a charming hotel located in a lovely neighborhood within easy walking distance of the city center. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was small but adequate, and quiet for the most part, with window overlooking a small courtyard. The lounge/breakfast area and courtyard were inviting, and though we did not purchase the breakfast, it looked and smelled good! Definitely recommend this hotel!"
