"Our stay at the hotel was very enjoyable. We received a helpful welcome text prior to arrival and reception staff were friendly and efficient when we checked in. Our room was quiet, spacious and very comfortable. The 11.30 checkout enabled us to take part in Zagerplas parkrun, return and shower before departure. We were delighted to learn that our booking entitled us to free admission to the adjacent Avifunda Birdpark and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves there."

"Wow!!!! We love this place!! Hans and his wife and son are wonderful hosts. The cabin is sparkling clean and wonderful. For US users: king size bed upstairs, with optional twin next to the king in the same room. The “box bed” downstairs is a queen size below, and on top would be good for a small child. It does have a mattress on top but it’s under the sloping roof. It was wonderful for us. We didn’t need it but I’m sure the AC both upstairs and downstairs would be wonderful in summer. The views out over the polders landscape are incredible. The view of the windmill is fantastic. The bikes he rented to us worked great to get into town and we felt like we belonged:). 30-35 min to TheHague. 25 min to Schiphol. Thank you Hans!! I hope we can come back. "

"The property is in a great location and contains all you need for a great holiday. Bicycles and canoes are available to use. Two restaurants in the village and regular bus service to Leiden. Easy to get to Amsterdam using public transport too. Amber and family were responsive and welcoming."

"Plenty of room for our group of six. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Sauna was a very nice amenity. Only downside is the parking space is rather tight but that is a lot of places in The Netherlands. Would definitely recommend to stay here."
