Beautiful location with access to bird park from the compound and large canal right across the road for mindfulness walk or book reading. Beautiful restaurant with summer house seating. Only challenge is commuting options.

Family of 5

This hotel accommodation was perfect for my family of 5. The rooms were clean and had plenty of toiletries and a mini fridge. The breakfast was by far the best of all of our hotel stays on our 10 day trip to Europe. The bird sanctuary and animals and playground was an additional treat for the whole family. If you are in the Amsterdam area this is a great place to stay.

Rigtig fint hotel med god beliggenhed. Især at der var 2 rum på hver sin etage var godt for vores familie på 5. Fugleparken ved siden af var bestemt et besøg værd - også selvom vi har 3 teenagere. Og så var der gratis indgang for hotellets gæster! Hotellet lå i fin køreafstand fra både Amsterdam, Rotterdam og Haag.

Over het algemeen prima. Er was iets mis gegaan in de communicatie wat betreft het verblijf van onze dochter (2), maar dat was, tegen meerprijs, snel opgelost. De kamers zijn prima. Simpel en schoon. De badkamer was echt wel toe aan vernieuwing, maar in okee staat.

Waking up in the gap between two single beds wedged together is very uncomfortable. The bathroom always felt a little dirty / gross. Waking up to the birds was nice though, if you’re into that. Other than that it’s just a basic hotel, nothing special.

Restaurant was brilliant. Reception staff were very helpful on all occasions. Room large with good amenities. Only one difficulty and that was the heating was inadequate even though reception gave clear instructions on temperature control.

The free entrance to the zoo park just beside the hotel is a bonus. The breakfast 18 Euro is great and convenient. The only negative review is the bathtub and the side towel rack were not cleaned properly.

Nous avons aimé la chambre spatieuse et le petit déjeuner. Dommage que la literie ne soit pas assez ferme (pas d'échange de matelas possible) et des moustiques. Sinon tout le reste est très bien.
