The hotel is small and quaint. The location is nice to sit outside in the square. The staff is exceptional and super helpful. The breakfast is worth the price with many options and made to order eggs. Highly recommend it.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. The location was perfect as there were many options to eat nearby, many water taxi stations were also a short walk from the hotel. Overall 10/10!

It was a comfortable place located centrally to a plazzo I was doing a manuscript painting class. Loved the square the hotel is situated in. Lots of shops and places to eat. The staff were amazing. The receptionists were always helpful and friendly. Couldn’t do enough for me. They also arranged pick and drop off to the airport. This meant I was relaxed and not stressed about making my way from and to the airport. Had one of the best holidays. Really enjoyed the water taxi service 😊

What a delightful place to stay! This small boutique hotel may have had small rooms, but they were adorable in decor, shower was nice and spacious, and bed was so comfortable! The staff was very helpful and warm. The add-on option of breakfast for 10 euro was AMAZING!!! Would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a smaller hotel situated in a central part of Venice!

As long as you know what you are getting staying in a traditional Venetian hotel then you won’t be disappointed. The room was snug. The bed comfortable. We had everything we needed for our stay. The staff are very helpful and friendly and made our stay enjoyable. Recommended some good restaurants to boot.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived before check in time, and as our room was ready, they granted us early check in which was very appreciated. We were pleased that the hotel had a lift so we did not have to carry our heavy bags up the stairs. We walked to this hotel from the train station, which was about a 20 minute walk. We travelled with back packs, and would highly recommend that instead of rolling luggage if you will also be walking. We would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Weekend in Venice

Bed was comfortable and the pillows were great. It was the only place to sit in the room but I actually didn’t mind because the pillows provided great support and there were enough of them to do the job. My only complaint was that the air conditioner never quite cooled the room down to the temperature set even when we ran it all night. If you slept in front of the vent it was fine but in the night it would go into eco mode and I would have to lower it from 25 Celsius *again*. The room is very small but we were able to get by. The shower had great pressure and the water was very warm. I actually couldn’t get it as cool as I wanted when I came in off the street and wanted to cool down. The breakfast was good and the staff attentive. The welcome box in our room was a welcome surprise. Room was quiet. I never heard the other guests or the elevator and we were on the backside of it in room 10 on the 4th floor. The hotel is conveniently located and we were able to wander the streets and get lost. I liked the complimentary items in the fridge.

Wonderful stay. The rooms were as advertised, but what was outstanding was the staff. They were welcoming, helpful and thoughtful at every turn! Definitely recommend this small, boutique hotel. Breakfast spread was great, as was the wine and the view of the square. We could walk to most everywhere from here.

We had a lovely stay in Hotel Santo Stefano. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel was located on a lovely square and was very convenient for sightseeing. I particularly liked that before we arrived the hotel contacted me to ask whether we wanted our rooms made up as doubles or twins. And they also booked our water taxi to the airport for us before we arrived.

Hotel was just fine for a great visit of Venice. The plaza it was in was wonderful at night, and was quiet in the after hours. There were restaurants near by and all the attractions of Venice were easily walkable. The hotel check in was quick and easy, the staff was wonderful, and room was cozy. There was free coffee, hair dryer available, and free water bottles. The walls are thin so noise transfers. I feel the location was perfect and I’d stay here again. I’d recommend. No issues or complaints.

Hotel Santo Stefano is a fantastic boutique hotel. The rooms are smallish (the nature of Venice architecture!) but beautifully appointed. The staff went out of their way to help us at every moment, the most invaluable help was with finding us places to eat. We had some of the best food we’ve ever had in Italy let alone Venice, and if you know anything about Venice it can be a mine field avoiding the tourist traps. The location is simply wonderful, such a beautiful square, and you are no more than a 5 minute walk to all the areas you’re likely to visit. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Staff were welcoming when we arrived. Annalisa was awesome went above and beyond to help us.The room was clean and looked like the photos.Bed, Bedding, pillows and towels all good condition. Water pressure was awesome. Morning breakfast was good we enjoyed sitting out at the patio tables in the evenings with a glass of wine(thier prices are good)
