Hotel limpio, desayuno pobre.

El hotel es pequeño, pero limpio. No hay ascensor, solo escaleras lo que nos es muy comodo cuando llevas maletas grandes. La habitación estaba limpia, y si mejoraria la cama especialmente el cobertor que es viejo. Se ve mejor en la foto de lo que realmente es. El desayuno es malo, no lo pagaria. Es solo de 7:30 a 9:30, tiene muy pocas cosas, por ejemplo el segundo dia bajamos a desayunar a las 7:50 y la persona en la recepcion tuvo que atendernos por que no habia nadie en el area de desayuno, no tenian nada salado, ni queso ni jamon solo mantequilla y mermelada. Muy poca variedad. No recomiendo desayunar en el hotel.

Localização muito boa, prox a estação de Trem.

Quarto tamanho ok, cama de "casal" eram 02 camas de solteiros juntas, banheiro tamanho ok, box extremamente pequeno, mal dá para se mexer, muito ruim . Limpeza ok, café da manhã péssimo, horrível, local pequeno e não tem opção nenhuma, suco ruim e não tem bolo, não tem fruta, não tem frios, pão francês branco, pálido e parece que fica a impressão que o rapaz controla os pães. Pior café da manhã dos vários hotéis que já fui. O cappuccino era bom. O barulho da rua incomoda um pouco dentro do quarto. O ruim nesse hotel foi o café da manhã e o tamanho do box, o restante foi dentro do esperado.

Good Value, Quiet and Accessibe

Modest but very elegant small hotel very accessible to train station and Pze. Roma bus terminus. Property very quiet inside and out. Clean and well maintained. Breakfast modest but perfectly adequate. Wifi difficult to access, due to temperamental log in, but fast once connected. Excellent value, and recommended.

Hotel good for purpose. Breakfast was basic

Hotel was good for purpose, close to where we needed to be. Staff were helpful. The only disappointment was the breakfast, limited choice, no fruit or cooked breakfast, no fresh juice for those who don't drink hot drinks. Had to ask for croissants and pastries which were hidden behind and rationed to where I had to ask for more than one.

Good location Nice decor

Although it says air conditioning, our room was hotter than the 28 degrees outside. We opened windows in hopes of a cross breeze. We asked to have the a/c turned up and were told it worked and not to open the windows. The lady was nice enough to come check. She said it would be ok when we came back in the evening...it was better but not cool. Made for a sleepless night.

Hôtel confortable et soigné près de la gare

Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel propre, calme et confortable. Il est situé : - près de la gare - à un station de vaporetto de la Plaza Roma où se trouve la gare routière d'où l'on peut prendre le bus qui permet de rejoindre l'aéroport - dans une petite rue très commerçante.

Very Nice Hotel for Single Traveler

Close to train station about a 2 min walk and a beautiful 10 min walk to St. Mark's Square. Single room came with double bed and shower in room. Not too small, very comfortable and relatively quiet. Would book again

Simply EXCELLENT

Very attentive and friendly staff. Everything was working (not usual for the old city of Venice) The shower has hydro massage, very nice perk. The water does not overflow while you are in shower (again, very unusual fro Venice) Comfortable beds, nice heating (!!) very quiet. The reception staff reminds guests who have to leave very early and start talking in general area that other guests are still sleeping. Very thoughtful of them to do so. I travel a lot and in all hotels cleaning talks very loudly and nobody cares. They are doing an excellent job and on my next visit to Venice I will definitely come back to Caretoni (if they do not increase their price significantly.) It was my 11th visit to Venice and I never returned to any of the hotels because none was excellent. So far, Caretoni IS. Keep doing such an excellent job. I traveled with two friends - one friend was in Caretoni, we occupied two separate single rooms and the other lady stayed nearby in other hotel. So we could compare one more time. Even though they do not advertise it, Wifi worked more or less OK in the room (they only tell you they have it in the reception area.) We had more than we expected.

PÉSSIMO ATENDIMENTO DO HOTEL E DA HOTEIS.COM

Foi péssima. Comprei o Hotel Antica Casa Carettoni para meus sogros e quando lá chegaram o hotel estava com overbooking. Realocaram eles em um albergue sucateado chamado Hotel Atlantide, caindo aos pedaços. Foi um terror a estadia. Tentei resolver a situação com Hoteis.com e nada fizeram.

観光アクセスが最高です

重い荷物を階段で運ぶのはひと苦労でした。シャワールームが狭すぎることと、ドアの建て付けの隙間から水が漏れて、気を使ったのでストレスに感じましたが、スタッフはみんな親切で、部屋も広く清潔感もあってくつろげました。回りは賑やかで、銀行や薬局、レストラン等に土産物屋など色んな店があって便利でした。

Für ein Wochenende...

... völlig ausreichend. Wir waren mit dem Hotel zufrieden. Die Zimmer waren ausreichend groß, nur dass es für das Doppelbett nur eine große Bettdecke gab hat uns etwas gestört, aber vielleicht hätte man auf Nachfrage auch eine Zweite bekommen. Das Frühstück ist typisch italienisch, daher so gut wie nichts herzhaftes (nur Schmelzkäse bzw. auf Nachfrage wurde uns ein Rührei gemacht). Wlan gab es nur in der Lobby. Das Hotel liegt nahe am Bahnhof, was den Koffertransport erheblich erleichtert hat (nur eine große Brücke mit vielen Stufen muss überwunden werden), dafür hat man einen längeren Fußweg zum Markusplatz oder fährt mit einem Vaporetto (derzeit 7,50€/Fahrt).

Good location but old fashioned

The location was great, a few seconds walk from the train station which is what I wanted. Nice vibe and restaurants around the area. The hotel was basic, the room clean but old fashioned. The bathroom was tiny and the door to the loo right next to the bed. The shower jets did not work and you could not use the hairdryer, it was like a hose that mildly blew out warm air, not possible to dry your hair. Quite a basic requirement for a hotel is to have a hairdryer that works. No tea making facilities, just a basic room.

Good place to stay in Venice.

We stayed here in early June. It is clean, quiet, and comfort, not too cold and not too hot. It seemed the room was recently renovated. So everything was good. It was just the shower that not worked very well. The bathroom is not small, but the shower cabin is very tiny. As we are not so big, it is okay for us. I don't know how a big guy can take a shower in it. What bothered me is the showerhead which need to be hold in hand to use it. There are muliple fancy massage jets, but did not work. As we only stayed for two nights, we did not ask for help. The breakfast is good. The location is also great, very close to the train station. It is also not far from the bus station (the bus runs between the airport and Venice). However, you need to drag or lift the luggages for the steps on the bridge (there are one or two such bridges, I forgot). And as others mentioned, there is no elevator in the hotel. Again,we did not have a lot of luggages and we are young, so it is okay for us. And there is no free wifi. Overall, we were satisfied with the stay at the price we paid.

Klein aber ausreichend

Das Hotel war klein aber gemütlich. Für eine Städtereise braucht es gar nichts Grösseres. Die Lage war tiptop, da wir mit der Bahn angereist sind. Das Frühstückbuffet könnte ein bisschen grösser sein. Im gross und ganzen waren wir sehr zufrieden.

"EXTREMELY" small but good for the value!

Originally I booked a different hotel but a day before my trip I received an email stating that the hotel had some flooding problems and they had to refund my money or they could place me on this particular hotel. Well I only paid half of what this hotel actually cost so no complains on my part at that time. My room was extremely small, had barely any room to move around. They do have a table that takes half of the room space. The bathroom is the same way, small. After a day or two in Venice I realize that everything is the city is actually small. Breakfast was great, location was awesome since is right by the metro station. No mayor complaints, hotel is good for the price....

Disappointment

The only strength of this hotel is its location to the rail terminal station. Though the ic claimed to provide full breakfast, the spread was miserable - only bread, jam and coffee / tea. When it flooded in Venice, others had platforms to link up to the 'bridge' in the middle of the path while the lady at the counter simply gave you that 'can't help you' kind of look and asked you to walk bare-footed across. Given so many hotels in the same area, I would say their service is really POOR and one can definitely get a better hotel of similar pricing with staff who can lend a helping hand in situation like this.
