We had a lovely stay, and thank you for the bottle of wine left in our room for my partners birthday, nice little hotel for a city trip, near the buss and train station so would recommend getting them rather then the water taxi from the airport, in a very quiet area but just a short walk to the water busses into the main attractions, lovely traditional italian hotel, thank you x

Liked the property. Safe, clean, lots of good restaurants near. The room had a couple of minor maintenance issues, but nothing affecting our stay. Loose bathroom doorknob, bathroom door dragging on the floor. Good property, don’t get me wrong. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would stay there again next time in Venice.

Great room and great hosts

We arrived via an overnight train from Rome and we were very pleased to be able to check in early in the morning. Not only was our room air conditioned and inviting, we had a small set of stair to our bathroom and a door leading to a small little patio space. 12 min from the train station and easy to find after getting lost in Venice constantly. Thank you for a wonder stay.

Overall, the hotel was very nice! It met my expectations for a clean but affordable hotel and the rooms were very well maintained. The staff was very helpful. My only complaints are that the hot water was very limited, and the rooms were not soundproof, which was unfortunate given the guests arriving and leaving at all hours of the night.

No elevator but ok. The 2 only problems were the shower wasn’t working correctly and the hair dryer wasn’t working at all. The staff was very kind, the lady even help us with the luggage at he stairs. The room was nice, clean and spacious

We checked in late at night at the neighbor restaurant as described in the reservation. When we got to the room, the AC was not working and the room was therefore unbearably hot. Also, there was mold in the shower and under the panels of the window and also the sink placed in the room was not fastened and it was a shared bathroom.

Great location! As it is a 1 star hotel, we booked it for location. With 1 queen and 2 twin beds, it was good for my two teens who wanted separate beds. It was safe, very close to everything, 14min walk from the main train/ferry station, and had a great restaurant right next door. Every corner in Venice has shops around. Check in and out was easy and friendly with the front desk or after hours. Some minor things are that the AC for our July visit (90 to 95 F outside) was barely enough to cool us down during the daytime but good enough for at night. I would ask for the AC to be turned on before arrival if it is going to be a hot day outside. The room that we stayed in had a sink counter that had some soft spots that needs to be repaired, and the shower hot water was a little weak in flow to get it working, but all was cleaned well. The room was a little tight, but enough to walk around our 5 luggages. The wall facing the street was well insulated, but the wall to the next room had conversations from the occupants that we can hear easily. When we could not book an early train out to Florence (book early as those early trains get booked quick, ie 2 to 3 days before), we had to book the 12:26pm train out (I booked the night before), so they had courtesy luggage storage for us to wonder around Venice until then. 4.5 Stars due to location.

It was an adorable property, but what made the stay was the woman running the property. She helped us out from the very beginning of booking the room. Kept in touch and helped us get to the property. Helped us get our luggage to the second floor. Helped arrange for help when we left for the airport.

Sehr herzlicher und fürsorglicher Service, sauberes Zimmer, Klimaanlage ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und es gab ein Gemeinschafts-WC auf dem Flur (war immer sauber und für ein paar Tage total ok ☺️) Die Unterkunft liegt super zentral, aber in einer ruhigeren Gegend. Ich würde es wieder buchen

The room was alright, with air conditioning. Bed was clean and comfortable. As everything in Venice, it is a bit small and you have to climb stairs to get to it and into it. We communicated through the staff of the pizzeria next door to check in and when there was a problem. The restaurant is good!
