What's not to like at Stone Hedge B&B. You are treated like kings and queens on arrival. May even get to sleep in the royal suite with full size hot tub. If not, the african safari room has the ambience of lions, leopards and elephants for a wonderful nights sleep. Each morning you are treated to a 4 course special breakfast which is never the same each day. A real treat. A big thank you to our hosts, the Coopers for making it such an enjoyable stay.

Linda, the hostess, should be teaching every BNB host. She is brilliant and funny. And helpful. And super accommodating. And the facility is amazing. Everything has been thoughtfully put together. The breakfast, four (!) courses: customized around my dietary regime. As a former hospitality management instructor for the top hospitality educational institute, AHLEI, this BNB is as close to perfect as I have experienced.

The space was immaculate and the breakfast was more than we could have wanted. From the setting of the table, the service by Brian (Carol was the chef…we never met her though) was light hearted and professional and the quality of the meal. All exceptional! The extra added bonus of Brian providing transport to and from the airport was a huge deciding factor in our choice to stay there. Highly recommend!!

A hidden Gem in Richmond
We had an amazing stay at the Stone Hedge B & B. We stayed in the Safari room ( the best) and the Royal Suite. Our hosts Brian and Linda went above and beyond to provide exceptional accommodations and breakfasts. Attention to detail plus! Rooms contained every possible amenity- from a vast variety of beverages (coffee, teas, hot chocolate as well as soft drinks and water) snacks, housecoats, slippers, etc.). Our breakfast consisted of 3 courses - yogurt, granola and fresh fruit (topped with a small orchid), a freshly baked supersized muffin with fruit and jellies made from grapes and apples in their yard. The third course was the most delicious eggs Benedict we have ever had! The second day we had to leave before breakfast and Brian presented us with a freshly baked muffin and several fresh fruit. If you had questions or needed guidance in getting somewhere Brian had all the answers and was a wealth of information regarding the area and beyond.

Very welcoming. Owners picked us up from the airport and took us to train station the next day for our cruise. Beautiful neighborhood for walk in the evening with nearby restaurants. Much better and cheaper option than downtown.

Stone Hedge is a little paradise in the middle of Richmond. Comfortable beds, great bathrooms, stunning sitting area with pool, best breakfast, airport pick up ( which was greatly appreciated) down to the small details such as tea, coffee and snacks for the weary travellers. Brian is an amazing host. His knowledge of the history of the area was fascinating. We will definitely be staying here in future stopovers out of YVR!

Great Spot for airport transfer
This B&B is great for a transfer via YVR. Close to terminal with free transfers available. We picked up a car from the airport and drove and was easy to find. Welcome was warm and informative. Nice touches such as welcome orange brandy. We stayed in the Royal Room which was good with a comfortable bed. This room has its own separate bathroom (not en-suite). We checked out early so can't rate breakfast. Host provided a to-go breakfast of fruit and muffins.
