"The location was about as good as you can hope - crazy close to the train station and conveniently located next to the canal, right outside of the touristic heart of the city. The rental was spacious and crazy comfortable - with amenities aplenty, the washing machine was a godsend. The rental looked clean, the terrace was perfect for a nice meal and a bottle of wine to unwind after a nice, hot day. AC made the apartment nice and cool, which was a must in the sweltering heat. "The hotel is inside of the old Carcassonne and that is very convenient for site seeing and dining. The parking is outside of the walls, there is a shuttle cars for transportation to the hotel."

"This small hotel is right at the base of the medieval city of Carcassonne, and had amazing views of the ramparts from our room and from a small roof terrace. Staff were really helpful with directions and recommendations for restaurants. The walls between rooms were a little thin, but the location was so quiet that we could sleep with the windows open. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a small hotel, and the beautiful garden next to the breakfast room was truly delightful. Highly recommended!"

The view of the Citadel from my window was enchanting by day and by night - and from the restaurant and rooftop, just breathtaking. A short walk to the Citadel or main town, restaurants all nearby. "Lovely spacious apartment with a balcony. Very good value for money. Used the swimming pool a couple of times and was the only person in there. Be aware it is in a retirement complex. The only negative is that the apartment wasn't cleaned while we were there (5 nights) and there were no cleaning products in there to do this ourselves. We were able to collect clean towels from reception but the used ones were not collected. Should have just asked. Having said all that, I would stay there again and simply buy some cleaning wipes."
