"Wonderful stay."

"Great bar and restaurant right on property."

"19th C. meets Thrift Store Modern with some quirky points of character such as vinyl records & turntable in the room. Curated in an authentic ambiance of Patched-Up-Dive. Remote staff, at least while I was there."

"Our stay at Elmrock was exactly what we needed to get out of town and have many of the beautiful sites of Ulster County available nearby. The House we rented from them was beautifully kept. The Breakfasts were great ant the conversation with others made for nice mornings. ON a VERY hot July 4th Weekend the home was cool and comfortable! Would recommend the Inn highly."

"Luv luv this place had such a nice weekend... My only suggestion is to make sure if you plan on eating at their establishment make a reservation in advance we tried to eat there the day, we arrived but it was fully booked .. Staff was wonderful and directed us to some other places in the area all walkable so not a big deal at all and we made reservations for the next day FOOD IS SO GOOD!"

"Perfect location to stay and have a wonderful dinner before a concert at Turning Stone. Charming small country inn type accommodations above the Inn. Much prefer staying here than at the casino."

"The Avon Inn is amazing. It was just like being home. The staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We had dinner there and it was delicious."

"We had a wonderful stay and even better food. Highly recommend the dinner at the restaurant. Jake was very helpful upon check in and with suggestions for the area. We hope to be back!"

"The bed was soooo comfortable!"

"positioned very well on the water good food live music"

"We stayed there just one night but easily could have stayed a few days. The property was very clean, quiet and cozy. The bedrooms were very comfortable and it was especially nice that the staff had made/left food for snacks and morning breakfast. very cool place. Will definitely rent again when we go back next year."

"Found the cleanliness of the room excellent - beautiful surroundings and the restaurant staff excellent as well"

"The room was comfortable and incredibly clean. Staff at checkin were very helpful. It was disappointing that the restaurant was closed two of the three nights that we stayed."

"Beautiful location and charming inn. Comfy bed. Could have been cleaner in the bathroom. This place could be amazing if it was maintained. Views of the Hudson River were covered by the messy gardens and trees. No restaurant."

"Terrific place. Loved everything about it!"

"Very nice hotel and our first visit there. The staff was very professional and friendly. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant was excellent - wish we had more time to try dinner there. We were checking in at dinnertime and there was a line to get in. The outside grounds were so nice and there was a HUGE pumpkin to welcome us at the door. We will definitely go back again."

"everything was very good we love going to milford and staying at both of your hotels"
