Kitchen was fully equipped and the heating kept the room comfortable. Electric fireplace added ambiance and added warmth. Rocking chairs provided a comfrtable place to relax.

My stay was completely comfortable and had e everything i wanted (warm, quiet, clean, restful, convenient) without the stuff i dont need. Nice little bagged breakfasts with healthy snacks and hot coffee a d tea availible early daily. Off the busy track but still in the heart of the high peaks; the true beauty of the Adirondacks.

Excellent stay! Very flexible in supporting hikers - grab and go breakfast made the night before. A banana would make a nice addition. The pizza on Saturday was amazing! Friendly and helpful owners!

Peaceful Location

Great location at an affordable price for the area, was a great location, great breakfast spot and dinner spot right down the road, close to whiteface, lake placid, & saranac, also close to Keene. Pretty quiet area near a river, also has a rec room but no TVs in the room.

The hosts are so friendly and accommodating. I needed to study for an exam a night and they accomodated me in the restaurant, checked on me, made sure amI was comfortable and even left the lights and ac on for me when they closed up. The room was very comfortable and the place nice and quiet so you sleep well. Definitely recommend staying here!

The inn is kind of ramshackle. We stayed in "Wilderness." The private bathroom had been updated (though the workmanship was rough), but the rest of the room was just old and worn. We realized that we should have brought food to cook for breakfast after seeing the paper bag breakfast provided (need a hearty breakfast before a big hike.) There was coffee in the lobby in the morning but with a sign not to fill large cups, so maybe go to Stewart's if you like more than a 12 oz cup. I will find a better option for my next trip to the Adirondacks.

The packed breakfast is cute! And the little common dinning area is also cute and very quiet. The playroom is awesome, played some pool, ping pong and foosball! The Au Sable river running behind the property is also beautiful.

This is a really beautiful property. Close to all the restaurants and hikes. I was just there and hiked Whiteface Mt with my wife. I highly recommend this place. Especially because you’ll make new friends when they have a firepit outside
