"Got to the hotel....the Indian guy said I have a handicap room? Do I want to switch? I said sure he said he upgraded to a king... I'm like great. Got to the room it smelled a dead body.. the fan was blasting so I know they know the room stinks. It was a dirty wet, old carpet. Anyway I felt sorry for the hotel. It must have been amazing at one point. The view of the capital is breathtaking. Everything else sucked. "

"We had a dinner for a grooms dinner and found this to be the perfect spot! The kitchen was well stocked and wonderful to cook in. Our guests were very impressed. It was immaculate and their is a Whole Foods just a block and a half away or a costco a short drive away. We loved cooking on the grill on the deck and the guys enjoyed having the gas fireplace and couches there as well! Lovely place!"

"Parking was great, place is well-taken care of. The couch is comfy but also each piece is individual which sometimes made it hard to stand up. Water pressure was great and host was very attentive to our questions! Definitely great for the price and the neighborhood was nice and quiet."

"Highly recommend this apartment. Very nice, clean neighborhood with nearby walking path. Roomy apartment with everything you need! The larger bedrooms bed wasn't too comfortable to me but my daughter had no complaints. The front bedroom had a very comfortable bed."

From pantry items to having available items like tooth brushes and cords for electronics, we felt welcome. We could walk to Whole Foods and Blue Back Square. "This charming apartment was exactly as described and even better in person. I traveled solo to be near family for the weekend and the location couldn't have been any more perfect. Mark had everything possible there to make a comfortable home away from home. The house is just about a 4 minute walk to shopping and restaurants yet located in a quiet residential neighborhood. I did not cook meals in the adorable kitchen, but easily could have because everything in the way of utensils, dishes,, etc. was available. Mark even had a robe and slippers to use which was fantastic as I didn't bring any with me! The instructions were clear and easy to follow for the keypad entrance as well as parking on the property. I look forward to staying again and longer if available the next time I return to West Hartford. Mark is a wonderful host and this is a quality rental, no need to search any further! "
