"Loved the old style Hollywood feel, the floors, decor, history of the building and staff. Location was close to the Lowes Chinese theater, and hollywood stars. We felt safe although it can get busy outside. The staff at the hotel were very professional, responsive and courteous. Consistently cleaning and keeping everything in excellence. Valet team was always very kind. Front Desk always greeted us and smiled. Room was very clean, turndown service and it is quaint. It was a small room but it was all we needed. There was a wedding event while we were there, so we only saw the pool on one evening while it was closed, but the ambiance was beautiful. Depending on what floor and side of the building you stay on, it can get loud due to outdoor traffic and the music from the events but our room was facing the sidewalk, so we only heard some of it. My husband is a light sleeper and he slept through it all. The noise did not impact our stay. We only wish that we could have seen more of the property, but the events prevented that. I would not count on the hotel amenities to be your primary venture, unless you're renting the space. Because events will take priority. The staff will send you text messages to make you aware of most closures. Nevertheless, we had a full itinerary outside of the hotel, so this did not derail our stay. We would stay again because it was great for what we needed."

"Great stay. Helpful staff. Good bar. The shuttle driver was not good at his job and upset people. Could be easily solved by counting those that get on and stopping at the number of seats. Instead he would allow a bunch of extra people every time and then have them all get off. Such a waste of time. Walk to the right and go up the escalators. Faster and easier."

"Hotel and rooms have mid century art deco feel to it. The hotel has nice little touches. I love the trolley/shuttle that runs on the hour from opening to closing time to Universal Studios/City Walk. They have a restaurant on site where you can pay for a buffet or eat off the menu. Also, attached to the hotel is a store with souvenirs and misc items for purchase. Lastly, the hotel has a smell of teakwood, which smells really nice."

"I've stayed at a lot of hotels in Burbank over the years, and Hotel Amarano stands out for all the right reasons. First, the staff is exceptional. Friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely invested in making sure your stay is a great one. Every interaction felt effortless, which is usually the sign of a well-run operation. The location is also hard to beat. Close to everything you need, walking distance to a lot of things, but far enough removed that it doesn't feel chaotic. What really impressed me, though, is that Hotel Amarano doesn't feel like a typical Burbank hotel. And I mean that as the highest compliment. It feels more like a boutique luxury property you'd expect to find downtown LA. Thoughtful design, great atmosphere, excellent service, and none of the cookie-cutter feel that so many hotels have today. Hotel Amarano gets the details right, and that's what separates good hotels from memorable ones. I'll definitely be back."
