"Staff at check in was insistent on collecting the Malaysian Tourism Tax. When I showed them the confirmation from Expedia "If you are not a Malaysia Resident...you do not need to pay this to the hotel." The staff didn't believe me and said that the tax i paid was the Expedia platform tax. Managed to not pay the tax. I suggest for the management to review their training. It was a bad start to the hotel and their tone was very unsatisfactory. When receiving the room card, I asked if it was a king bed as that was the option i chose during the booking. The staff then mentioned that I did not book a king bed. I showed him the confirmation mail again, and he just replied "Oh we do not have available king bed" without even checking in the system. I guess he was just lazy to check and change the cards. another disappointment. Linen and sheets were dirty and you have to hold down the flush for a long time to flush the toilet. Aircon was warm in the afternoon and only got slightly cooler at about 1am till 8am. Wifi was weak at certain sports in the room, such as the toilet and near the window where the chair was located. Sound proofing was also bad. Heard slamming of doors, walking and crying babies throughout the stay of 1 night. The only positive of this hotel would be the shower. It has good water pressure and temperature. I will never return to this hotel even if it is offered to me for free."

"New hotel, loved the modernness and toilet with bidet. Wish I had a room with a better view. Concierge was not able to book the city tour for any attraction or thy dint offer. Centrally located, close to Pateonas Tower, value for money."
