The Yarn

"We stayed at Yarn Hotel in Zurich for four days and overall had a great experience. The location was excellent, right by the train station, which made getting around very convenient, and the Wi-Fi connection was also very good. There were a few things that could be improved. The breakfast selection was quite limited, and there was no phone in the room to contact the concierge or front desk. The concierge also closes around 10:30 PM, and after that the hotel doors are locked, so there is no access to the concierge overnight if you need any assistance. Other than these points, we really enjoyed our stay. It was a good, comfortable hotel in a very convenient location, and overall, we had a positive experience."

"In general the premises were in good clean condition. In a nice area near the river and train, bus station. We don't recommend it for the summer period because it has no AC and no window nets. The most important issue for us was that the bed was too small for two adults 140x180 and the mattress was very bad quality. As a result, our feet hung off the bed, we could not sleep during our four-night stay, and our bodies ached every morning."

"Ein modernes, helles Haus, auch im Hochsommer herrscht ein angenehmes Klima. Auch auf dem grünen Binnenhof lässt es sich gut aushalten. Nahe Zürich und Luzern gelegen lässt sich von hier aus viel erleben, dazu eine sehr gute Anbindung an den ÖPNV.Zum Baden empfohlen sei der Türler See, danke an die Gastgeber für diesen Tipp."

"The room was small but clean, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The location is a bit further away from Zurich HB. We could catch the train which is in front of the hotel to Zurich HB. Overall, we are happy with our stay."

"Comfortable and spacious for 3 people! We slept well which is #1 priority for us. It was mostly clean. It is well decorated. The location would be fine if you’re driving a car. But since we used train and bus system it took about 10-15 minutes of walking to get to grocery or restaurants and there aren’t really shops nearby. The host responded quickly to an issue I had but either misunderstood me when I wanted help with it right away or just didn’t do it. We had some trouble finding the key because it wasn’t in the right place but luckily another guest told us to open every mailbox until we found it and then we did. But these are small issues and I was pleased with the comfort."
