Booked Home Hotel Zurich with low expectations; ended up being really impressed. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was excellent, and while the rooms were small, they were very clean and comfortable. Great value and service overall; would definitely stay again.

Very conveniently located next to the Sihicity mall with access to trams and trains. Attached restaurant is excellent. Note that the fitness center is located on the 4th floor of the mall, which makes for a chilly 30 second jog outside during winter. That can be good or bad depending how you look at it!

It's a cool and modern property. The location is great, since it is close to town center (walkable) and the hotel is practically built into a shopping mall. There are stores and restaurants. There are meeting facilities. And public transportation stops outside the front entrance. The vibe and deco is cool. The only thing that is a little odd is the view from your room, because it seems it pretty much does not matter where your room is, you are always looking into a dark alleyway or a wall. But that comes with the setting in central Zurich. It's nice that the hotel has parking, which is always a benefit in a place like Zurich. The parking right below the hotel is limited, but if they run out of spots, you can park in the garage under the shopping center. That's a short(ish) walk, but it is OK.

Our stay at Home hotel was excellent! The room was well sized and I really liked the simple but functional bathrooms. The bed was comfortable, we really liked the hotel bar downstairs, and the breakfast buffet was a great way to start all our days. This has been one of my favorite hotels in Europe! I really like the modern and colorful aesthetic design. It is very cool and unique. The hotel is brand new and elegant. The rooms are super spacious and they have everything you need. Espresso machine, mini fridge, vanity kits, plenty of towels, natural local soaps (excellent touch), and others. The bathroom had excellent water pressure and hot water. Super spacious too. Excellent room overall. The A/C worked amazing. It worked super well and the room was super cold. I really liked that you could control the temperature from the screen. The beds are very comfortable and the duvet covers feel super nice. The hotel service was excellent too. Very nice people at check in. The location is perfect. You have the TRAM right in front of the hotel, and the train on the back. You can pick either and be in downtown in 10 min. You can connect to the city through the TRAM and also go to touristic places from there, and even go to the airport. I really enjoyed this hotel and would stay here again! Also, it is next to the shopping mall, if you wanna shop or eat at a restaurant there.
