Long weekend at the mountain
We stayed with my sister and her family, 8 of us in total. The Barn was clean and well set up. It had everything we needed to make for an enjoyable long weekend of Skiing, catching up with family and a small birthday celebration for two of the children! Communication with the owner was easy. Would definitely choose again for our next weekend in the snow.

Good quiet location
This is a lovely home in a location that suited our needs. The kitchen is well supplied and the fireplace lovely on those cold mornings. The beds are comfortable and bathrooms are nice. Having the washer and clothesline was very helpful to us, as well. Jen was very easy to communicate with.

Cozy and warm
The house is great. Really warm and cozy and tidy. Close to town and dog friendly which was awesome to be able to have our dog with us. Had lots of things included which was lovely (board games, wifi, firewood, linen, towels, pantry items etc). Great hosts very kind and communicative which was appreciated. Only problem we had was at the time of our stay a neighbour would blast music that shook the house late nights and early morning making it hard to sleep.

Love it...
We actually ask for an electric heater due to previous experience and we have 2 babies under one. But the house was really warm and tidy and have all that we needed including rice cooker. We would love to come back to this place the next time we are heading to Turangi.

Excellent location in Turangi... close to Mt Tongariro.
Accomodation had all the facilities that we required. Clean, tidy , modern, comfy and cosy. We would definitely book again if we plan the same location in the future. Excellent organising, prompt booking and planning with the owner. Much appreciated.

Wonderful Family bach

Two day Ski trip to Whakapapa
The property was perfect for my family group. I was worried it would not be warm enough with only a fire but it was quick to light and warmed the house super fast. Having a fire was also snuggly on the cold nights and mornings. My only suggestion would be to increase the pitiful water pressure to both showers which should be an easy fix.

Comfortable, warm and convenient
Cosy, clean and comfortable house with everything we needed. Great for 2 families with 2 bathrooms and 2 lounge areas and extra fridge space. The fire was fabulous and heated up the whole house. We would definitely stay again.

Loved this house, had everything we needed and enough space for 2 families. Warm wood fire and super comfy beds. Short stroll to Turangi, 45 mins to ski area, just perfect. Will stay again.

Great Accommodation!
This place is great. It has everything you need and more! We were a group of mountain bikers exploring the area and having a garage, bbq and multiple fridges, and loads of space worked well for the bikes, beers and meals. Highly recommend!
