"Perfect location for walking to Duval Street."

"This is a historic building converted into a boutique hotel. The rooms are nice sized, bed was comfortable and the area was very nice and safe. It is located in the middle of the Truman Annex area. They have a small pool and no longer share the amenities with their sister property, Opal Key, as they once offered. There is not a hotel shuttle from the airport available any longer as well. What was awesome about this place was the service by the staff members, the fantastic location and within walking distance to Duval St, Mallory Square and lots of restaurants, bars and shops. They also offered a very simple but nice array of fresh juice, milk, water and grab and go breakfast items, such as croissants, bagels, yogurt, coffee, tea, granola bars and all the necessary condiments. There is WiFi available and the property, though small, is beautifully landscaped. Housekeeping is by request during your stay. We would definitely book again."

"We had such a wonderful time at this property. It’s in a great location in front of the water and has an nice restaurant and bar. The pool was great and fun to be around. They only drawback is that there was so much seaweed in the little beach area that we weren’t able to sit by the water. But that wasn’t the properties fault at all. It’s just the way it is right now. The rooms were huge and very clean. I would definitely stay here again next time when I go to Key West."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Douglas House in Key West! The location was perfect—close enough to walk to all the shops, restaurants, and attractions while still being quiet and relaxing. The property was clean, charming, and had everything we needed for a great vacation. The pool area was also a nice place to unwind after a day of exploring. The only minor issues we experienced were with the upstairs AC, which didn't keep that area as cool as we would have liked, and the upstairs shower, which never really got very warm. Neither issue ruined our stay, but they are worth mentioning for future guests and the property owners. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and would definitely consider staying at the Douglas House again. We had a great trip and appreciated the beautiful property and convenient location"

"We had a great stay and the location was fantastic. The only real downside for us was the room was so so very bright all night long. As in you could clearly see the whole room like it was morning. Needs curtains not just the blinds as so much light came in with them being closed all the way. Also the door had light from the hall coming in as well. Seems like some weather stripping around the door and curtains would be an easy fix. Small touches like wiping down walls and windowsill would be great. But to be fair my home probably needs the same."
