The Tokyo Station Hotel is simply stunning and elegant. The staff greeted us from the shinkansen platform and they helped us navigate from the busy platform to the quiet hotel lobby. Tokyo train station is one of the busiest places and this 'meet and greet' service helped so much and was very much appreciated. I loved this hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious with brilliant amenities and a great bathroom. Beds were comfy. The pool and gym were very good (warning to parents - under 18yo not allowed). There were 4 subway lines directly connected to the hotel so getting to other parts of Tokyo was easy. The surrounding area is quiet but with convenience stores and eating options within walking distance. The bar had a nice ambience with good cocktails. The only negative - buffet breakfast...

Beautiful hotel with nice restaurants, lovely staff and a 10min walk to the train station.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here. Both times as a family of 5 staying in 1 room. We didn’t spend much time in the room or hotel other than to sleep but it was spacious and well appointed. The hotel is very close to 4 stations and only a short walk to Tokyo Dome and with plenty of eating places close by.

I can not imagine a better place to stay in Tokyo. Everything was 5 star. The panoramic views over the harbour were stunning Staff service amazing particularly the concierge Very well priced. Restaurants were a little expensive but huge choices within walking distance Will always go back there

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel NIWA. As a solo traveller, this is a lovely, safe area. Although I felt safe overall in all locations. After much research I chose Hotel NIWA as I love the serenity here. It’s so peaceful, away from the busyness & the crowds, however a great location, close to all with such great transportation & so many fabulous dining options close by. The food is fabulous here. The service standards are excellent. I found all staff so friendly, courteous & so helpful....

Great hotel, great service . Things in the rooms look tidy and clean

The location and friendliness of all staff was amazing. The use of the Club Lounge allowed us to rest and enjoy a drink and nibbles before venturing out again. So close to Shinjuku station was great for our traveling adventures. Would highly recommend to others

2nd stay in Ueno and this is preferred location. Quiet but easy walk to market streets. Stations. Food. Park. Shopping. Bistro serves great F&B. Room larger than average and ever so comfy. Recommended!

What an amazing experience this hotel was totally amazing - from checkin to departure we were treated like VIPs. The staff are excellent and we were given a complimentary ride in the rolls royce to end our long trip overseas. We stayed at the peninsular for one day.

I have stayed in many 5 star hotels in various countries and this would definitely be one of the best. Absolutely AMAZING views. I loved lying on the window seat at night endlessly gazing at the view. My room was very large, modern, clean and high tech. I loved how everything was operated through an iPad. We had a lovely 2-night stay here in one of the moderate queen rooms. It was sweet and everything we needed. Also the location near the Kokuritsu-kogijo station was perfect for us. Really near Shinjuku so just awesome, we totally could have stayed longer. Staff were friendly and we were able to store our bags after we checked out. Would totally go back.

Very good experience overall Some things to consider: 1) Guests do have to swap lifts to access rooms from the main one in group that takes you to reception only. This can be inconvenient sometimes as that couple minutes wait makes a difference when having to catch a train or got big luggages. 2) You still have to pay for extras such as a cafe latte even when you have already paid for a breakfast voucher which felt a little money gauging and greedy on the hotel being that other hotels at...
