The room was very clean but has certainly seen better days and the bathroom was very cramped although had a good shower. "The pub was lovely and served great food and drink options. The rooms were clean and comfortable, albeit fairly basic and in need of modernisation, but certainly no complaints given the room rate. The pub offers great value for money and is dog friendly. We used it as a stop of travelling south from Scotland and we will likely return. "

"This was a fantastic find for an overnight stay on our way to Glasgow, wish we could have stayed longer and explored the lake and surrounding areas. The bar and restaurant were very good and the couple who were managing the pub at the time of our stay were excellent hosts. There is plenty of parking and this very old pub has very modern rooms. Would defiantly recommend and stay again. "
