"The Donald Gordon Hotel in Kingston was fantastic. Housed in a beautiful historic building that was originally a private residence, it has operated as a hotel since, I believe, the 1980s. While the rooms are traditional hotel rooms, they are exceptionally well appointed, and the beds are very comfortable.
The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was outstanding, with a great selection and excellent quality.
The grounds are picturesque and give you the feeling of staying on a stunning historic limestone university campus. For anyone visiting students at Queen's University, I would highly recommend the Donald Gordon Hotel. It's conveniently located right on campus, and the complimentary parking is an added bonus. All around, it was an excellent stay."
