The heritage! WOW this house is exquisite. And we didn’t see it all. You will certainly need to cancel the alarm you will not want to get out of bed. This is a must stay if you visit Kingston. Highly recommend.

The room was great. Well appointed, some nice touches. The kitchen was well equipped. The house itself is amazing. Built in 1867, with lots of character. This is our 2nd time staying here. Both times were memorable.

Overall, our stay was great. However, some amenities could use an upgrade, such as the TVs, hairdryers, and especially the beds. The beds were quite uncomfortable, and none of us managed to sleep through the night. The bedside light switches were also very inconspicuous—we only realized they were light switches when we were about to check out. Other than that, everything was wonderful. We really loved the decorations and the overall atmosphere.

This is a beautiful historical home divided up into self-catering suites. Absolutely good value for the spacious rooms, private patio (downstairs), reasonably stocked kitchen, loving details, and elegant beauty of the place. I ran into the proprietor and she is a warm and welcoming person who built her dream bnb here.

Historic Charm with a View

Everything was picturesque and perfect. The view from the penthouse balcony was breathtaking. We enjoyed such a peaceful sunset and sunrise. It is so private and quiet in The Penthouse Suite. The suite was very spacious, beautifully decorated and full of historic charm.

We stayed in the Chapel Suite which was absolutely beautiful. Living room, huge kitchen, two full bathrooms and a king bed. The hosts provided an information booklet (electronically) ahead of check in which covered everything we needed to know. It was clean, comfortable and so charming. In hindsight, the only thing we would have done differently would be to have booked for all three nights of our long weekend.

Quaint but Luxurious

Quaint but luxurious. Limestone walls and heated floors over the top. For such an old home it felt so fresh and clean and perfectly decorated. It is very professionally run, every angle is covered to insure you are comfortable and not needing any assistance to enjoy your peaceful tranquility. We will definitely be back.

Perfect Getaway

The suite was spotless and beautifully maintained. Comfortable bed and living room furniture. The kitchen was fully equipped for preparing meals. The Penthouse suite had amazing views of the property and the St. Laurence River. This historic property is located about 10 minutes from downtown Kingston in a quiet area. The original floors and exposed limestone walls and beams add to the appeal of the suite. The owner was responsive and accommodating when we left something behind. We'll be back to enjoy the balcony or patio.

We liked the privacy of the suite and private patio. Generally, the unit was clean and well equipped. The instructions were for the most part very clear. We did not like the small bathroom sink. The tv screen was too small for today’s standard.
