"The place is conveniently located close to the Stratford station. Nearby mall access is also good. We used the Elezebeth line to get from/ to Heathrow airport. One station ride to the Abba Voyage concert on DLR."

Enjoyed the meal we had there one evening plus a nice ambience when just having a drink & relaxation. Absolutely ideally situated for the Abba Voyage. Would definitely go there again. "Used to be a 4* hotel. It never was 4* but it was pretty good. Great breakfast and amenities in the rooms. Now that it’s been taken over by AO it has gone downhill. On Expedia it’s still advertised as 4*. There’s nothing in the room, no tea/coffee making facilities, no hair dryer, no bathmat, no nonslip mat for the over bath shower. The bedding was good quality and the mattress comfortable, but only one thin pillow provided which resulted in neck ache in the morning. Paid extra for breakfast, it was poor. The cooked breakfast consisted of cold sausages, cold hash brown and beans. Hardly a full English. The cold continental buffet was just as basic. The bar was poorly stocked and with the poor and slow service provided by an abrupt bar man. I was the only one at the bar and it still took 20minutes from starting my two drink order to sitting down to drink it. Probably my own fault for having expectations based on previous experience before it was taken over by AO who seem to be turning it into a youth hostel. I subsequently discovered that AO are AOHostels which explains a lot, but AO have it on their website as a hotel, which is definitely not a hotel anymore, it’s a youth hostel with a stylish reception. On the plus side, there’s no charge on the ferry to Canary Wharf for residents that would otherwise be £7.80 each way. "
