"I was in traverse city on a weekend where there were not a lot of hotel rooms available, so I felt lucky to get this one. It was clean, the staff was very kind, and the pool is good. The walls are thin, and the rooms are small, but that’s to be expected in this category of hotel. All in all, it was good for what it is and the staff were so friendly. "

"The Sierra Motel has a vintage look with all the modern amenities. Although the traffic noise can be a little loud, that was nothing that earplugs couldn’t fix. Everything has been updated and is very clean. We loved that we had a fridge, microwave, and Keurig. The staff is very friendly and accommodating."

"I enjoyed our room, which was very clean and quiet. But most of all, a balcony overlooking the water, put the perfect touch to the room. The staff was helpful, friendly, and there always was coffee. :-)"

"We were on the 2nd floor. No elevator. Rooms were very nice and comfortable. There was no staff on duty. We had a late check in (after 11pm) and there was a notice on the door with the number of the hotel across the street to call if anything was needed. Only waited about 5 minutes for someone to come across to open the registration front door to get us checked in. She was very nice and apologized for the inconvenience."
