"This place offers an affordable price compared to other hotels in Traverse City. I chose it mainly to have a place to sleep. I used silicone ear plugs to help with noise since the air conditioning unit and traffic can be loud. It has excellent hot water and a small refrigerator, which I really appreciate. There is plenty of parking. I will stay at this place again."

"This is a historic place visited by the likes of Henry Ford, filled with fishing memorabilia on the walls, that is a great choice for a group (or family) who wish to test their skills on the Au Sable or other local trout streams Terry and the other staff were wonderful. The suite I stayed in, one of two with their own bath rooms, was commodious. It's well located on the north branch of the Au Sable, and only about 25 minutes from Grayling. "

"Quaint, budget friendly hotel with parking right in front of your room entrance. Ideal location with several restaurants just across the street, convenience store and gas station just down the road. Cozy rustic rooms with cable TV, microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Very helpful and personable hotel associate. Great for an overnight stop on our trip to Canada!"
