"Beautiful beach and property"

"Suite was excellent- it was clean, renovated, and had a fully stocked, full-size kitchen, and a full-size washer dryer. We also requested a full-size crib, and it was also clean and perfect for our son. The living area and kitchen were separate from the bedroom. The terrace had a great view of the pool, garden, AND ocean! It was a massive terrace with furniture, and it was also completely screened in, keeping the bugs out and safe for our son to be out on the terrace. This truly made our experience traveling with our child for the first time an easy breezy great one! The beach was absolute perfection. It was so picturesque. All the grounds were well-maintained. We had great weather and enjoyed every minute of our stay at Ocean Club East. All of the staff that we encountered were very friendly and accommodating. Usually, I don’t like to revisit the same place but if I had the opportunity, I would definitely come back here!"

"The Sands was a fine hotel but they fell short in several areas. Staff was generally unfriendly- specifically restaurant, store and front desk. There was an ant problem outside the room each night and we did find a few ants in our room. Room layout is awesome! Location also helpful. We like a resort feel and felt The Sands did a poor job of making guests feel pampered. Was very difficult to get beach service and when we did it arrived in a paper takeout bag. Also, there are very few game activities for teens. "

"The property was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. Staff was overly accommodating and helpful with any questions we asked. The resort was small and quiet, which was so nice and relaxing. The walk to the beach took 1-2 minutes. The resort had staff on the beach who quickly got your umbrellas and chairs situated for your comfort. They also helped with scheduling us an excursion. Amazing group of people, gorgeous beach and water, and beautiful property!"
