We had a double queen bed room and it was more spacious than a lot of mini-suite rooms, and updated as well as clean. With two nice restaurants within 50 yards and a Dunkin down the road for an early coffee, this is once again truly the place to spend the night. "

"A relaxing stay. The house looks just like the pictures and is nicely decorated. The host is quick to respond and always answered any question that we had. Not a far walk from the dock or to the beach. We don’t have any complaints. Thank you for having us! "

"We had the most wonderful time. We've been to LGI before and chose this island specifically. The ferry is a huge bonus as well as the golf cart. John was an excellent communicator . The beds were comfortable and the pillows were the best. Every day early morning, coffee and a long walk on the beach. Then back to the condo and each day we took the ferry to shop a little and grab lunch at a new location. We celebrated my granddaughter's birthday and had planned early to pick up a cake from Sassy Tarts. The cake was exceptional. We did a little crafting, fishing, sharks tooth hunting and shell collecting. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back. We absolutely loved it so much."

"If you’re looking for the perfect island retreat, look no further! This property has everything you could possibly need. The owners are fabulous. Their communication and willingness to ensure their guests have a great time is top notch! We spent nine days here and could have never left. After 33 years of marriage this was our first childless beach vacation! We shared so many beautiful photographs and conversations that our 17 year old booked a flight and joined us for the last 3 days of our trip! Property description and pictures don’t do this place justice. It was everything and more that we were looking for. "

"A very nice little house perfect walking distance between the dock and the beach. Wonderful back porch to sit on up stairs as well to enjoy your evenings when the suns gone down, listening to the breeze, sea birds, and the happiness that is LGI. Bring sunscreen, bug spray, and a good attitude for an amazing time. We would definitely recommend staying here to anyone and Michelle was amazingly helpful!"

"The Salty Mermaid is a great place to stay on Little Gasparilla! It was exceptionally clean and very well appointed. The 3 bedrooms all had comfy beds and sheets. The bathrooms were nice and clean, and the showers were stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There were a lot of towels in the house, but if you use them all, there is a washer and dryer included. There is a dining room with a table that seats 6 people. The couch / TV room is comfy and spacy. The TV appears to be 70 inches, and had subscriptions to most major streaming providers. The kitchen was very nice. Well stocked and very nicely decorated. We cooked dinner most nights and enjoyed eating on the back deck. There are numerous outdoor seating options that are comfortable and well thought out. There's even a fire pit stocked with wood! I can't say enough good things about the Salty Mermaid. We'll definitely be back. One thing to know is that the house is elevated similar to most of the houses on the island, so you do climb steps to get up to the house. This was not a problem for our family, but is something to be aware of if any one in your party has difficulty with stairs. "
