"This was an incredible VRBO! Right on the beach, steps from the water. We saw dolphins, stingrays, lots of fish! We rented her golf cart as well which was awesome to cruise around the island and get to and from the restaurant.. we are already planning our next trip and hope that we can book one of her properties!"

"If you’re considering staying somewhere on the island- stay here! Diane was the most incredible host and had every single thing we could ever need. The location is the best we’ve ever stayed at by far. We can’t say enough good things about this property, this host, and THE VIEWS! 5 stars isn’t enough- we’ll absolutely be back!"

"“Paradise Cottage” and its host, Jay and Carrie, are wonderful. It’s not hard to find the value of staying in a one story house on a remote island where every other house is elevated several feet and your pet has a “nature call” at midnight. The house was very clean and ready to go when we arrived “on island”. There was even a welcome basket filled with essential goodies (chips, salsa, crackers and cheese, sweet bites) that were very appreciated after the drive and ferry ride to Palm Island, starting off and setting the tone for a relaxing time, with an inviting pool and out back dock to enjoy the evening sunset.There are multiple beach access points nearby, a short walk or golf cart ride away. The beach was delightful, soft sand, turtle nests and plenty of shells to admire. Missing, people! Walks along the beach and surf were peaceful and the area was filled with a soundtrack of mild waves breaking close to the shore.Jay and Carrie were available when needed, very helpful and responsive. The house included all items needed for our stay, when the groceries we purchased for our stay ran out, a quick trip “off island” to Publix a mile or so away offered a solution. Also located “on island”, the Palm Island Resort’s two restaurants included multiple meal and snack options, recommend the toasted coconut milk shake from “Coconuts”.Paradise Cottage is a great place unplug and reset. Very comfortable, convenient to all the island has to offer. 5 stars!"

"The only downfall was the pool directly in front of our room was the only one closed in the resort. We found out it was due to county permits for the bathrooms, and the walk to the other one was quite a bit away with little kids trekking along. Would definitely not remove any stars, the sunsets and views made up for everything."

Our kids thought arriving by ferry was super cool and the staff was kind and welcoming when we checked in. Our villa was lovely and we all enjoyed our meals at Rum Bay. Our weather wasnt great but we still loved shelling and shark-tooth hunting despite the clouds and rain."

"The unit was clean and the Hot tube was amazing! The stay was enjoyable and very relaxing! I was in a down stairs unit so there was some noise with heavy footed people above me but it was a great place.Suggest that maybe more cooking pots for making dinner."
