"Stayed at The Anthers Hotel for three nights. The location is excellent, with easy walking access to downtown restaurants and stores. The room was clean but smaller than expected. Parking costs $19 per day, which feels expensive relative to the overall stay cost. The paid breakfast buffet was disappointing, offering very limited or no vegetarian options. The mini-mart freezer was not working, which we discovered only after purchasing spoiled items, though the vendor promptly refunded the amount. Overall, the experience did not feel like good value for money. For my next trip, I will consider a different hotel in a similar location."

"Our stay at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort was fabulous. Rarely is there zero hiccups of some sort, but everything was perfect. We had eaten there a few times but this was our first stay. My wife commented, "I enjoyed this more than the Broadmoor!""

"Beautiful historical place to stay and so convenient to walk and do everything. Our only issue (and really it wasn’t an issue,was just an inconvenience) was that they are working on the front entrance so my husband had to drop me off so I could go in and ask where to park. Loved this place and highly recommend!"

"Friendly, welcoming staff; breakfast was basic, but good. Convenient location to catch free bus 3 or 33 to the local sites, main town strip, Pikes Peak Cog Rail station, Garden of the Gods. A few eating places easily in walking distance or more reachable via the free buses 3 or 33. We didn’t try the outdoor pool, but saw a few people enjoying it. One thing that we would have desired, but was not available, would be permission to use the breakfast seating area to socialize and play cards or other games during the evenings."

"This is an older establishment, but it adds to the charm. The inside of the rooms have been redone to make it more modern. It's a very convenient area to the Garden of the Gods. They had music each night we stayed which was nice. The outside looks a little rough, but just reserve your opinion until after you open the door. The staff was super nice and accommodating. We would definitely come back."
