Charming Lowcountry Cottage Near Beach & City

"This property was very clean and the host very friendly and responsive. The location was perfect.. literally 10-12 mins to the Beach and the same distance to Downtown Charleston. The property was very clean, and well kept.. all the appliances we used functioned as expected TV's wifi, etc. all great. It was July so very hot in Charleston so we did not use any of the outdoor amenities.. On that note I would like to mention I didn't feel the property was near as "private" as described.. the listing does mention the property is located on site with the owners home, but it's directly in their backyard and the patio is 100% visable both ways into and out of the owners home.. there was mention of a firepit, I did not see it, once again July in Charleston is not really "porch sitting weather" so no real big issue for our stary your mileage may vary. My other concern with the shared location was the driveway access.. I wasn't a big fan of the driveway it needed a few repairs, and having to back out around the owners cars wasn't a big deal, but I could see where it has the potential to be problematic. (my car is very low and the broken pavement was a concern)Indoor amenities were just as described and very nice. The TV's both worked as designed as did the wifi, coffee maker, etc.. etc.. Very good water pressure in the shower as well. Really overall 5 stars inside the property and the location. Host was very responsive and 5 stars for that aspect as well!"

"Our stay was incredible! We really loved the set up and the bungalow feel. You’re constantly surrounded by nature and calmness. There were a lot of things available for us which was very kind by the hosts to provide. Be mindful that it is close to the beach by car, not walking. So be sure to either rent a car or have an Uber. The hosts offer a parking card which helps tremendously! I definitely want to come back soon. I recommend this stay for everyone!!!"
